EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP

Cameron played college baseball at Brigham Young University where he was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 18th round of the 2002 Major League Baseball draft. Cameron played six seasons of professional baseball with the Texas Rangers and Oakland A’s before moving on to work for the Walt Disney Company. In 2008, Cameron participated in the Emerging Leader management training program at the Disneyland Resort which led to being hired as a Guest Service Manager from 2008-2015. Cameron was part of the opening teams for Toy Story Midway Mania, World of Color, The Little Mermaid Attraction, and CarsLand across attractions and the food and beverage lines of business. Cameron was then fortunate enough to get an opportunity to work for the Utah Jazz in 2015 as a VIP Services Manager, servicing all suite accounts and overseeing the premium food and beverage experience. Two years later, Cameron was asked to move into a sales role as a Premium Account Executive selling the all new premium seating inventory at Vivint Arena. Cameron was then promoted to Director of Ticket Sales and Service where he remained until 2021. In the Summer of 2021, he was asked to help start a new department with the Utah Jazz as the Director of Business Development. Here he led a team responsible for all new business sales for corporate partnerships and premium seating which led to his promotion to Vice President of Business Development in 2022. Cameron returns to the Larry H. Miller Company and the Salt Lake Bees as the Assistant General Manager and Senior Vice President of Baseball. Cameron has been married for 20 years to his wife Sarah and has three kids: Calum -13, Ryan-10, Steele -6.

ADMINISTRATION

Yvette joined the Bees team as the executive assistant during the 2023 season and already feels like a member of the family. Yvette comes from over 25 years as an Executive Assistant and loves the challenges that come with the role. Her hobbies include horseback riding, cooking fancy meals, walking her property to see all the wildlife, and caring for her two horses, Knuckles, and Chanel.

Caytee has been at the Bees' front desk since 2018, helping everyone who comes through have a great experience at Smith’s Ballpark. She loves coming to work in such a fun environment with the best co-workers. Caytee is currently pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice and Social work from SLCC that she hopes will help translate her passion for helping people into a career. When she’s not at school or the ballpark, Caytee loves arts and crafts, cooking and baking, and scenic drives.

COMMUNICATIONS

Kraig began working as a communications intern for the Bees during the 2011 season after graduating from Utah State University. Among his previous stops Kraig covered USU Athletics at the Deseret News as a freelance writer for four years before coming back to Smith's Ballpark in 2014 as Communications Director. Kraig's favorite part of working for the Bees is being able to call the ballpark his office, and when he’s not there, he’s hanging out with his wife and two daughters.

After joining the organization in 2006, Tony was named the Bees team broadcaster following the 2023 season. A well-known fixture at the Ballpark, Tony served as MC for the Salt Lake Bees since 2007. He has loved connecting with fans year after year, being a part of indescribable special moments in people’s lives, and watching fans who came to the ballpark as kids return as adults to recreate those amazing memories.

Tony’s passion for creating unforgettable memories extends beyond Smith’s Ballpark; in his work with special needs communities and families and organizations such as Son’s of Baseball, Tony has helped create countless once-in-a-lifetime experiences for people with special needs. And he was named Man of the Year by Utah's Philanthropic Group for his efforts and contributions to fighting childhood cancer.

MARKETING AND GAME PRESENTATION

Brady has been a part of the Bees game presentation and marketing team for eight years and never gets tired of seeing his work come to life every night at the ballpark. He is a graduate of the University of Utah, and in his free time, Brady enjoys golf basketball, watching his kid's little league games, and spending time with his family.

Walk-Up Song: “Theme from Jurassic Park”

Peter is entering his second Season with the Bees and is looking forward to assist in growing the game of baseball within the state of Utah. Peter will graduate from the University of Utah this May with a degree in Information Systems, where he was a manager of the Crimson Gaming Call of Duty team for 3 years. In his free time, he can be found watching or playing a combination of both video games and sports!

Hometown: Missoula, MT

As a former pitcher, Brayden loves coming to work at the ballpark every day and cheering on the Bees. 2024 will be Brayden's fourth season with the Bees. In his off time, Brayden loves movies and traveling with his wife.

Brayden’s Walk-Up Song: Immigrant Song - Led Zeppelin

Joining the Bees' staff during the 2022 season, Cory is excited to continue working with such an encouraging and passionate team. A Utah native, Cory worked with the Utah Jazz in analytics and logistics after earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. When he’s not at the ballpark, Cory enjoys watching movies with his wife, eating good food, practicing Korean, and hanging out with his son.

Walk-Up Song: Saturday Nights Alright (For Fighting) - by Elton John

Brecon is going into his 5th season with the Salt Lake Bees. He enjoys the ballpark atmosphere and providing memorable nights for everyone in attendance. Brecon also enjoys getting out and playing golf with coworkers and friends.

Katie has been with the Bees for two seasons. She graduated from Westminster University in May 2023 with a bachelor's degree in Sports Management with an emphasis in Marketing. During her time at Westminster, Katie was on the Track and Field Team. She has a deep passion for marketing and game presentation.

Duane has been with the Salt Lake Bees for fifteen years and has loved watching the Bees play and being around all the fans who come to the ballpark! He graduated from the University of Arizona in 1989, and in his free time, he enjoys crafting working with resin, and diamond painting.

Brad joined the Salt Lake Bees in 2008 and was named Director of Ticket Sales in 2014. Prior to the 2024 season, Brad was named Senior Director of Membership & Events and is looking forward to working with Bees Season Ticket Members and the amazing Membership Service Department.

Prior to working with the Bees, Brad worked as a Manager of Sports Retail and as a Zamboni Driver. Brad studied Communications and Sports Administration, graduating with a Bachelor of Science from Utah State University in 2007. Brad enjoys Quentin Tarantino movies, board games, 90's Gangster Rap, and spending time with his wife, Amber, and two boys, Knox and Hayes.

Hometown: Salt Lake City, UT

Koy is entering his 11th season with the Salt Lake Bees and is excited to continue helping customers and staff create memorable experiences at the ballpark! He began working for the Salt Lake Bees in 2014 as a Ticket Sales Account Executive and was promoted to Director of Ticket Sales and Service in 2020 and now oversees Ticketing and Premium.

Koy graduated from the University of Utah in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science and still loves attending the Utes football games. In his off time, he enjoys playing golf, going to Disneyland and hanging out with his wife, Courtney and their two kids, Kade and Olivia.

Hometown: Houston, TX

Tanner has been with the Bees since 2018 and enjoys helping companies and families come to the ballpark to enjoy baseball. Tanner is a BYU graduate who enjoys skiing, basketball, traveling, and playing with his three sons, Griffey, Ozzie, and Murphy. Go Bees!

Hometown: Draper, UT

Abby has been with the Salt Lake Bees for six years, working in the Box Office before joining the Ticketing team during the 2022 season. This season, she is excited to continue working at the ballpark and create memorable experiences for quests with her amazing team! Abby is currently studying Sports Management at the University of Utah, and in her free time, she loves spending time outdoors with her family.

This is Bryce's second season with the Salt Lake Bees, and he’s excited to be working in the sports environment. Bryce received his degree in Business administration and Sports Business Concentration from the University of Oregon and still cheers for the Ducks and the Blazers from Utah. In his free time, Bryce enjoys playing basketball and golf, watching movies, and traveling. He is most looking forward to being a part of creating a fun atmosphere for everyone to come and enjoy the games with friends and family.

Hometown: Portland, Oregon

Going on seven years with the organization, Sam has enjoyed her time with the Bees helping clients create lasting memories and working with some of the coolest people around. Sam has a Bachelor of Communication from the University of Utah and in her free time, she enjoys fitness, basketball, and traveling.

Hometown: Taylorsville, UT

2024 is Madison’s second season with the Bees, and she’s excited to be in such a fun role. Madison received her Associate's Degree from Utah State and her Bachelor's from Utah Valley University. This is her second year as an Account Executive after working for years in marketing and events. In her free time, Madison enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking, spending time with her dog, and dancing.

Hometown: Idaho Falls

Ryan is entering his second season with the Bees after working as a Graduate Assistant for Utah State’s Men’s Basketball team while earning his MBA from USU. When he’s not working, he enjoys working out, listening to podcasts, and adding to his shoe collection (especially if they’re “Kobe” basketball shoes.)

Tim is entering his second season with the Salt Lake Bees after working as an Account Executive for the Northwest Arkansas Naturals. Tim is a graduate of Utah State University, and in his free time, he enjoys going to the gym and spending time with his wife, Samantha, and two daughters, Isla and Elle

Hometown: Idaho Falls, ID

A lover of all things sports, Ian previously worked for Real Salt Lake and is now entering his second season with the Bees. Ian received his bachelor's from Utah State University and is currently earning his master's from the University of Miami. When he’s not working or watching sports, Ian is working out or traveling.

Brian began working with the Bees in 1998 and is excited for another season at the ballpark, developing relationships and friendships with our clients. Brian received his bachelor's in Sports Management from Old Dominion University. In his free time, he can golf and cheer on his children in dance and sports.

This is Dustin’s first season with the Bees and he’s ecstatic to be working in an industry that brings families and the community together. Dustin is a University of Utah alumnus and in his free time, he enjoys skiing, mountain biking, and caddying for his kids on the golf course.

Ariell joined the Bees Ticketing staff in 2022 after previously working on the promotions team. Before returning to the Bees, Ariell worked with the Rose Park Baseball League in marketing, sponsorships, and designing. Ariell enjoys all things outdoors, fitness, and spending time with her two children, Easton and Talia.

Hometown: Salt Lake City, UT

OPERATIONS

Derek joins the Bees staff from a lifelong career in baseball. Derek played infield at Utah Valley University and then coached baseball at Utah, Oregon, Utah Valley, and Grand Canyon University from 2012-2019. For the past three years, Derek worked in youth programs for Salt Lake County including Junior Jazz and Junior Bees. In his free time, Derek enjoys golf, reading, and spending time with his wife and family.

Derek is excited to be working with the excellent team here as well as the tremendous baseball fans in Salt Lake; he’s also looking forward to continuing to grow the game with young baseball players and fans in Utah.
