The Sugar Land Space Cowboys Reading program, presented by Texas Tamale Co., aims to help boost extracurricular reading while also teaching students valuable life lessons and providing an incentive to participate. Students who read four (4) books over the course of the Reading Program will earn two FREE tickets to a 2023 Sugar Land Space Cowboys game! The Space Cowboys offer two ways for schools participate - with an in-person assembly or virtually with a pre-recorded video. While the assembly is geared towards elementary-age children, any school level is welcome to participate in the program. The Space Cowboys Reading Program reached over 75,000 students across 108 schools in 2023.
